I tried black rapids twice; only perch. I was at the lock fishing the rapids and still water near dock.

Where in Richmond can you get the Jock?

We are staying on private property. Not sure of where except near the "foot" of the island. My friends aunts house is supposedly haunted; perhaps you know of a haunted house on Wolfe Island. Thanks for the help.

I am going camping at Wolfe Island in 3 weeks. My friends says this of where we are staying. We are right on Lake Ontario, ummm when you get off ferry boat on Wolfe Island it is on opposite side. We go down by "the foot" of the island. She doesn't fish. Can anyone tell me what I might find...

This is a VERY big lake. If you go to the Opeongo Resort website they have a depth chart. We caught one pickeral on a gang troll beginning our quest for Lakers. The OPP / MNR will most likely be out in full force on this lake. When they re-opened pickeral a few years ago it was a zoo! Cheers, Scott

When he is on Hwy 17 he will pass the Antrim Truck Stop (10KM from when you get on Hwy 17).

5 km past Antrim, Al's Bait and Gas on right in Galetta. Good place to stop for things you've forgotten. Next Arnprior, then Refrew, Cobden is past Renfrew about 15/20 minutes.

legal size limits are there for a reason and most likely will not be easily changed. Reasons for fish limits are that fish outside of the limits are excellant spawners and thus it ensure these fish will be left alone. Having smaller and larger fish also ensure the numbers will rise; not very good if...

just curious as I know little about muskie except that I would like to try fishing for them this fall...

why would a big stink be raised over eating a tiger muskie? does this pertain to all muskie?

I went to Black Rapids. Someone caught a 7lb muskie and 2 5 pound pickeral. I caught a few small perch.

Nope not an new type of pickeral; looking for a spot where I could fish from shore. Possibly in Manotick along the Rideau or nearby. I am in Bridlewood and don't have the time to go far tomorrow. Someone mentioned fishing the Jock in Richmond. I know there is Pickeral in some parts of the Jock; what...

I think it is near Dacre, west of Renfrew. Probably over an hours drive from Ottawa. I think it is spelled Tooey.
