If you don't find what you want at Costco, try Magnacharge. They have shops in Kingston and Ottawa.
Great product and reasonable prices. They also service their batteries.

Re: Plastic bunk wrap
Thanks for the reply. I looked at the Gatorbak on line but couldn't find a local dealer for pricing info, Going to try the Caliber. Ordered it from Amazon. They sell lots of products and have a good website, so I'm hoping they'll be around if I have a problem. Also going to replace the bunks with pr...

Re: Plastic bunk wrap
Thanks for the reply.
I have to re-cover my bunks and was looking at something a little more resilient than carpet.
I'm looking at Caliber Bunk Wrap.
By the time you buy good carpet, glue, staples your into around 100.00 which close to the cost of the wrap.
Just not sure what to do.

Re: Mounting a Helix 7di G2N
I've used the RAM swing arm that is in the pictures. Really like it. I just loosen the friction knob and can swing the mount so I can see it from anywhere in the boat. Your options might be limited with a windshield. I bought mine from GPS City. Good selection, prices and service. Some mounts might ...

Re: Taking the train
We've done the Agawa Canyon trip a few times. That train does drop offs and pickups.
I believe Ontario Northland does as well.
That would be an adventure.

Re: Trolling motor debate
I'm on my second Powerdive V-2 55 i-pilot. The first one was a foot peddle that I converted to the i-pilot. Loved it. Bought it new in 2010. Broke the shaft, my fault. Lifetime warranty. Replaced by Minn Kota. No issues. There's no pedal with the Powerdrive i-pilot and that works great for me. I han...

Re: ATV through the ice BOQ
This morning the ATV owner returned with friends and a canoe. He recovered what he could off the ice. ATV is gone. Report this morning of a guy going through at Huff's(survived). Another went out at the Hydro cables to retrieve an ice shack and no ice. If your coming to the BOQ it's probably a good ...

There's a report last evening of an ATV through the ice in Long Reach near Huff's.
Emergency services attended. Recovered a cooler, handle bars and seat still visible through the ice.
Operator not located as of yet.

Re: Boat batteries?
You definitely have a problem. Your battery should last more that two hours. Even a crap battery, if it's working properly, should do better that your describing. I'm guessing that you may have one of two possible problems. First one is possibly your battery isn't fully charged when you go out. If y...

Re: Boats? What do you drive? Im Looking for a new one
I had a 2010 Princecraft Starfish Tiller with a 40 Honda. I liked the boat but not much storage. Last two years the paint started to blister. Apparently the boat wasn't cleaned an primed properly. I've had Lund, Legend and Starcraft. All had pros and cons. I spent a year shopping and liked the looks...
