I didn't realize that this area was in such bad shape. I was hoping to head up there this ice season but I guess I'll look elsewhere for now...

I was thinking of trying this lake for walleye in the near future.

How is the walleye ice fishing on this lake?

Wow now that's brook trout dreams! Good for you and all those perch is definitely an added bonus. I'm pretty sure that the trout don't mind sharing the lake with so many perch.

Is it just me or is it quite difficult to keep your jig beneath the transducer in current areas?

I'm not talking crazy current either...

I often can't see my jig.

As you can tell from my username, I am an obsessed trout fisherman. I don't fish for any other specie besides brook trout. Problem is, my brother in law is coming to the Ottawa area in a few weeks and he is a walleye freak. I know nothing about walleye fishing, nor do I know of any waters which hold...
