Re: Gamefisher. Aka sears boat infos?
Here you go! http://www.harbertechnologies.com/about-us/ "In the late 1950’s the company utilized the knowledge of aluminum manufacturing to begin building “Feathercraft” aluminum boats for Fleet Aircraft. They eventually diversified into the company’s own line of “HarberCraft” boats which were...

Re: prop pitch
Great advice here. Definitely look at the mounting height first. If that looks okay, then I'd suggest a lower pitch prop. You'll probably also find that you'll get higher revs in the spring and fall with cooler weather, and that in the hottest days of summer, your performance will be down a bit. Als...

Re: prop pitch
What size engine and is that with a light load or full load? Also, are you trimmed up to get that 5,100? Do you know what the max HP rating for the boat is?

Thanks smitty55! We weren't able to get out this past weekend, but we're on for this weekend and I'll post an update to let everyone know how we did
Ninja Boot, we're going to be shore bound so I assume that Bob's Lake wouldn't be that great of an option?

Shore fishing for Crappie . . .
Hi everyone,
Would anyone happen to know of any spots fairly close to Ottawa (say within an hour) where a guy would have a reasonable shot at getting into some Crappie from shore? My son would like to try his luck out, but we're going to be shore bound!
Thanks for any info you're willing to share!

Not trout, but you'd have no issues getting into Panfish at Dow's Lake on the fly.

Re: Boats? What do you drive? Im Looking for a new one
I have a 165 Competitor tiller and I'd have no problem whatsoever recommending Alumacraft. My boat is a 2012 and it's been awesome. Very well built, doesn't leak a drop, great fit and finish, and great ride for a smaller hull. Originally being from Western Canada, I didn't know too much about Alumac...

Does anyone know what the boat launch fees are at the Rockland launch and how you actually go about paying? Can't seem to find anything on their website . . .
Thanks in advance!
