I knew there was a map that showed better detail but I couldn't find it.
Thanks

Re: Head Pond - Zone 18 or 15
I go through the same thing every year, can’t remember what I determined the year before. It appears to be obscured by the Zone boundary line for Zone 18 so I’m going with that unless someone else has more insight. We were there for the musky opener and nothing has changed. The dock is in, it...

Laker season
Hi, Question concerning fish and catching fishing OOS. One of the lakes that we fish for lakers has recently been producing some nice sized walleyes lately. It not recognized as a walleye lake and the lake trout season doesn't open until much later. So the question is, can we fish this lake targetin...

Re: Clay Bank - Madawaska River
Regardless if it's sold or leased, you now have 5 - 600 extra people camped onlong the shorline hitting this fishery all week and all weekend long whereas currently people only come for the day except for the few cottages along the shoreline. How long do you think this fishery will survive ? Accordi...

Re: Clay Bank - Madawaska River
I am wondering why the area musky clubs haven't jumped on this yet. Their membership alone could put this petition over the top. Not sure if this petition will do any good or if this is already a done deal but I will do whatever I can to help stop this. This is not a large fishery and the increased ...

Re: Parking Permits
Hi, Yes the ticket my buddy received was just a warning. We were just quetioning how you could issue warnings when there is no signage or news concerning any upcoming changes. Now we know they are coming. It would be nice to see a news release somewhere and have a definitive date as to when these ch...

Parking Permits
I've been meaning to post this for a while to see if any other members have heard or know anything about this. I was out at the Claybank launch for the musky opener back at the beginning of June. My buddy met me there in his truck and I had my truck and trailer. Fished all day but no luck, get back ...

Thanks for the responses. I kind of figured this would be the answer. :( I have an iPod Touch but not an iPhone so I'm out of luck there too. Oh well someday soon they will come out with a cheap all in one device. I know I can upgrade my cellphone but at the moment for the amount I use it I ca...

But this is only topo data not hydrographic data. It may show me how to get to some backwoods lakes but I think what Tbone is looking for is lake contour information. So again the question is if I put a Navionics chip into my Garmin car GPS will it recognize it and will it now function like your GPS...

2005 Merc 115 4 stroke saltwater
Hi, I'm looking at a boat that has a Merc 115hp 4 stroke saltwater motor on it. I'm wondering if any of you guys out there own or have experience with this year class and style of engine. My neighbour says they have known problems and they are part Merc and part Yamaha. Would like to hear about your...

No wonder I couldn't find these, I was in the fishing aisle not the cat toy aisle. Been to two CT's in Hull looking for these things. They will make great baits. Next time I will have to read your post a little closer but no offence Joco, sometimes your posts are a little hard to follow.

Crappie Smith's Falls
Hi, I usually fish for crappie in the spring all up the locks system from Manotick to Beveridge Locks but I'm not sure where there are good access points in the winter. That is, are there any points where you can drive on, are there spots where you can park and walk on ? I may be heading up to Smith...
