Re: Fishing Man Cave?
Mine is still in the works. Looking like a shed at the moment ( sheds being rebuilt) aside from most of what has been mentioned already, includes my work station for prepping for the next outting, a cork board with a collection of friends fish and memories, as well as a collection of "retired&q...

Little kayak help please
I have decided that I would like to give kayak fishing a go. I figured FH would be a good place to start digging for some info on the subject. So I'm totally new to this aspect of fishing and am wondering what I should and shouldn't be looking for in a kayak.
Thanks all

Re: Cheap Hard Baits?
I have used some dollar store top water poppers with surprising great success! They are a little on the light side but have worked great for me this far and there are two that have a regular spot in my box. This being said,I have had 1 break on me in the last few years. I've tried a few cranks with ...

Re: rod repair help
Oziles at Petrie island does a great job at replacing tips. I lost the ceramic insert on my flipping stick and brought it to them. He charged me less than $10. He cut the tip off cleanly covered it in a epoxy of some sort, put on a new tip and wrapped it back on. Aside from a little colour differenc...

Re: I spit at you, HaHaHa ( funny little story)
I had a fish break my line and caught the same fish later the same day on a duplicate bait and got my lure back. I say its your buddy's fish and should count on his total. the proof is in the minnow....... I would agree if he had the hook in his mouth. The fish just stripped and got the upper hand ...

Right on! I've been pouring plastics for a few years and there's nothing better than catching something on a bait that you created. Brings a whole new element to tackle selection an matching the hatch. Best of luck to you on this venture. I don't have any local contacts for you but some American sup...

I spit at you, HaHaHa ( funny little story)
So two weeks ago I was out fishing with a good buddy of mine. We were having a good day playing the numbers game and the score was neck and neck all day. So naturally I chuckled at him when he has a swing and miss. One particular fish had also taken his dropshot minnow so I laughed a little more at ...
