Re: LAKE FRANCIS -QUESTION
You’ll need a Quebec licence, the lake also borders New York State so if you are in those waters you’ll need a licence. Hope that helps

Re: Trolling motor battery
I have a minn kota ulterra and use 2 group 29 everstart batteries from Walmart, I can get a whole day on the lake with them no issues and that using spot lock most of the time, so I’d say moderate use of the motor. I’m no battery expert so I can just tell you what works for me lol

Re: Trolling motor debate
I have the minn kota ulterra mounted on the front of my Larson fx 1750 and love it. Spot lock works great even in high wind and current situations. I have never had any problems with it, so my vote would be minn kota

Re: Game camera not responding
I had a similar problem as the weather got cooler I got a lot less pictures, I came to the conclusion that the cold nights would hinder the performance of my alkaline batteries therefore I switched to lithiums and it solved my problem. The camera would show full battery power during the day but I ju...

Re: Long sault parkway
You can access right up to the second causeway by vehicle in the winter, and further by atv or sled. The second causeway is heavily used in the winter for ice fishing.

In boat plastic bait organizer
Does anyone know of a Canadian retailer who carries an in boat plastic bait organizer such as the one seen in the link provided below (sticks to the underside of your compartment lid and you clip the bags into it). I have found one but they only ship to the states. Any help is appreciated, I have un...

Re: Things that make you go Hmmm???
If you check under the party hunting regs you will find this:
23. Section 20 does not apply to person who attaches his or her seal to the moose, deer or bear killed by another person who is hunting in a party with him or her. O. Reg. 665/98, s. 23.
Hope that helps

Re: Charleston opener
I'm there every year, last year was the first year I actually noticed an increase in boat traffic specifically fishing trout. Lots of boats in big waters. Get there early enough and the launch is usually not busy. Leaving I usually try to hit the launch around lunch, I find most of the joy riding bo...

Re: 7 months of mystery tackle box
My subscription just ended in January and with the Canadian dollar the way it is I decided not to renew due to the added cost compared to what I paid last year when our dollar was pretty much at par. I was satisfied with everything I got and will probably do it again when our dollar goes back up
