I just buy my license 3 years at a time, that way there is no having to carry extra slips or printed off copies, once the license expires so does the outdoors card and you just renew both at the same time.

Was out on dog today, the report of the 1 to 2ft of snow with 6" of slush below it is very accurate lol. If you stick to the skidoo trails you can make it a good distance with minimal effort. Caught some fish however did not get any splake, but we only gave splake an hour of our time. Nasty th...

Anyone go wait in line to pick up an auger or was everyone already in line for the black Friday sales lol. I have a friend who went and said the line outside was pretty decent, snuck in through automotive since they open at 7 however was not able to purchase anything until the cashes opened at 8 :lol:

ya i know that you mean smitty, i only got gps this year so i am now able to give people a rough estimate of the speed i usually troll at. I also agree with the longer leader, i usually go roughly 36'' behind the gang troll

I use lead core and gang trolls all the time and i find a trolling speed of 1 mph works the best for me, maybe give it a try

I have the fortrex and it's very easy to deploy and retrieve, I can do it with one handle easily

Thanks for the replies I will for sure look into the 2 names for getting the old one fixed as a spare. As for a new one a buddy of mine made a few calls and got me a brand new apollo for 400, which i will get tomorrow just in time for the long weekend. Thanks again for all the help
