Way to go Todd. Nice back lake trout with lots of action and happy kids makes for a great day on the ice. That's crazy about that many perch. Any size to them? hit a little backlack for brookies, lovely lake that gave up about 6 14 inchers and at least 150 perch. great day, suprized that any trout could survive with that many perch competing for food.. Kids brought there skates and skated all day.perfect day

ok ,,Ive heard there is good walleye in hurds lake, and I have access through a friends house,. I just wanted to confirm this and of course a little help where to start my search would be good,. going to head out next week.. On another note have been hitting the back lakes, its been hit and miss lot...

finally got out to my awseome crappie spot, slayed them there last winter.. 35-37' feet of water.. set up, and prepared for the first strike. 2 hours later and a mess of adjustments....still waiting.. 3 hours of waiting not a bite ,not a mark on the sonar.. Might go out and wait again today. hope yo...
