Thanks to the guys giving us a hand at the Shirley's ramp with the final push getting the "condo" on the trailer.

Trucks were at the far end of the bay (north) yesterday.
might be the last weekend of "decent" ice on Shirley's

dirty carbs or air being pulled in.
Check fuel lines for any cracks and ends are tight on the barbs.

Fishing there is generally good.
That Derbyshire is a fun one, lots of people and good cash payout!

Tire tracks on the ramp only, pretty sure it's going to be a slushy mess underneath and turn into the same mess as two years ago.

Parking is clear and so is the ramp....lots of snow out there and there seems to be a new presure ride just out past the last huts forming....might make QC beer runs a little tougher.

I bought several dozen minnows from Serge 3 weeks ago.
down to my last 6 and they're still in great shape...just remove and add water every few days.

She was pretty slow for me this afternoon and evening.....but with the woodstove cranking, music playing and meat on the grill the two Sauger were a bonus....

My catch numbers are down this winter and i think i know why ....i might have swing by the old place and get a jar of the dirt and leave it in the hut.
