That's kinda old news. It's the same as last year. If your not checking the regs at the start of each year your likely gonna get yourself in trouble. Jonbobfly wrote:Just to remind readers that there is a new zone wide regulation on keeping walleye. Only between 40 to 50 cm (15.7" to 19.7")

Re: Need advice/mobile charting

I just looked at there website to get the proper web address and noticed that all there Garmin handheld GPS units are on sale right now. Hope this helps. Jon. ...

Gary Yamamoto Hard Baits
Has anyone seen any of these baits yet. I think they look pretty good and plan to try them out this summer. Seem to be reasonably priced too.

Re: k&P north Miller Lake, Reid Lake
The section you're talking about is gated in the summer at both ends. You could get around with an ATV but not a truck. There is a campground on Reids lake but last time I checked there was new ownership and they were only allowing people to you use the launch if you were staying to camp. Even if yo...

I'll take some pics of it this weekend. Seems as though that shack has sparked a lot of interest. Jon

Re: Muskie Guys -- NEED your opinion
I would say your estimates are accurate. Based on the Muskies Canada weight calculator a 51''x18'' would weight around 21lbs. Photos can be tricky to judge but it sure does look long and slim. I wouldn't argue with you over it. Nice catch regardless, to bad you didn't get her in Nov. Jon

You could also try some of the main lake humps. There are 2 at the mouth of Pickerel bay. You can find them with the navionics app. It will also show you lots of drop offs. I would look for 15' to 20' of water with a hard bottom. Good luck.

Re: January Ice Eyes
The shack is basically just a tin shell. The ends are just barn shaped plywood with the tin running horizontal from one end to the other. There is one support in the middle. It's completely spray foamed inside which makes it ridged and extremely warm. A small propane heater keeps it warm with ease. ...

January Ice Eyes
Fished for a few hours today and ended up with 4 walleye and 6 perch. Biggest walleye was 4.5lbs and the others were around 3lbs. No keepers other then the perch. Jigged up 3 of the 4 with a Humminbird I35 flasher. Just using a simple live bait jig head tipped with a minnow.

No I didn't get to weigh it. I caught it while musky fishing so I didn't have any scales with me.
