My understanding was that the ramp by the restaurant was a provincial access point. The only hitch was the requirement to park after launching your boat etc, and this is where Chuck stepped in for the parking fee. Actually, the gate at the beginning of the road/trail (45.195099, -77.051101) that leads to Big Limestone had a somewhat confusing sign a few years back that stated no motor vehicles with the exception of quads and sleds. That trail did take me past the shore to Leclaire, but I abandoned the expedit...

The lake is open with the exception of a few bays. The boat launch and western bay by the ski hill still had some weak ice.

There is an option to use a solid core rivet and marine caulking. I forget the exact name for the rivet style. Also, I came across this product when I was researching how to replace a broken rivet that was below my boat floor.
