Not to piggy back on the post, but I'd also be grateful for any starting points for trout streams. I like hiking for my fish (part of the fun in trout), and I'm catch & release, so I won't clear out any spots, assuming I find a hike and get them biting! ?

I figured by Saturday it might be all right, but that might just be wishful thinking.

Has anyone had any experience with those loop attachments that are heated to shrink and bond to the end, making a loop? I saw them at a store, but just imagined my leader, and fly sailing into the woods as it let go. It seems too easy, so I'm therefore suspicious!

Yeah, I drove by today and saw the levels way up. I'll be there early Saturday with my daughters to test out their new rods, in fashionable pink and purple, dontcha know
