Re: Salmon River NY Advice

As Todd suggested, if you are going to the SR become familiar with their rules, as you cannot fish between sunset and sunrise.

Re: Salmon River NY Advice

When you get there the fish will be spread throughout the river and all access points will be crowded. However, do some walking from those access point and you will find some water to yourself. Mitch

Re: Cranberry Lake/Dog Lake

Lot's of SM and LM bass, pike, bowfin, bluegill, crappie. Deep water basin will hold some splake but your catch per unit effort will be much higher if you target the other species. No problems in getting to Dog from Cranberry. Enjoy.........Mitch

winter steel

Head down to Pulaski for some action. Water flow is lower than usual but lots of fishable water with little human traffic.

try using a carlisle hook, which will allow you to easily unhook the fish. Mitch http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://images.cabelas.com/is/image/cabelas/s7_112972_imageset_02%3F%24main-Small%24&imgrefurl=http://www.cabelas.com/p-0000010112972a.shtml&usg=__c9ZUeais-fWKPzIZlFooZXbpcQU=&a...

wait a week or so..........

CTC will have there other boat cover on sale which is a better product for a few bucks more. You can easily trailer with the cover on and is more durable than the one that is on sale. I speak from experience.
