Re: Tougher fishing this year?
Only been out 4 times but for me the bass bite is off. Cought some but really had to work at it and nothing of any great size for both smallies and largies.

Old Bass Boat seat options
I have an old, 1985, Winner bass boat that needs a pair of seats. After looking at the seats that the local box stores sell I can't find any that really fit properly. I'm wondering if having the existing seats refinished would be an option and if so does anyone have a place they could recommend that...

Can't say it's my first 5+pounder but for this one I had the scale, camera and my uncle to hold it all with me for once. This was really nice bronzback I got in Que on wackey rigged Tiki stick. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p39/Alleycat800/bass2.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p39/Alleyc...

Ya I guess you need more info...sorry gents. I was sure I had included that. The ex did say I had a communication problem! I'll be launching at Cumberland. Range wise I should be good for at least 15 miles or so. So I guess any where between Ottawa and Wendover. I'd like to pick up a map somewhere m...

Ottawa River....tips
Hey folks,
Very new to fishing the Ottawa River and must say
that I'm not having much luck. I'm targeting bass.
Any help with some half decent locations would be much apreciated.
Tks

white Parasite/worm in sm bass, what is it?
I was fishing for sm bass on a lake close to my cottage on the weekend and caught several bass that spewed out something that looked like a bunch white stringy worms. On further inspection they seemed to be full of these things. One even had one in it's eye. I have never seen this before. Do any of ...

With all the controversy about OOS bass, spawning bass etc, I'm wondering if anyone can comment on the reasoning behind opening the season on bass so early on Lac des Iles Que. Is there too many bass in this lake. I mean they have already had two tournaments there so the pro's can't be too against p...

Thanks for the great reply's. I have decided to rent a Legend 168 X Terminator for the weekend just to see how I like it. Those Crestliners are darn nice looking boats too. Someone here at work made a good point in that if I wait to purchase in the fall there is usually some good end of season deals...
