Todd,

Didn't know there's a inline float, will give it a try. Maybe add some split shot for casting.

I can see the fish chasing flies above surface, so I guess dry flies should work.

Without investing an arm to get the flying gear, anyone tried casting a fly? Guess I can try that by casting with...

Hi Cman,

which side of the launch did you wade and how far? I find the place hard to wade especially near the launch, too many big rocks..

hmm

I would suggest the manufacturers add a oar lock at the stern of the boat, the left oar can be used as a scull.. I have to think what to do with the one oar left. Give it to your partner and make them paddle. You were nice enough to take them in your boat after all. Good luck. M.T. Livewell

Pass my condolences

I assume you wouldn't find it, it's been almost a week by now. Yeah, there are 2 launches, both public as I know. To get to this one, turn right(if you head north) at the greenish gas station on dunrobin. It will lead you all the way to the north side of the lake. After you pass the railroad, turn l...

Lost oar at Constance Lake

Bought a pair of Aluminum oars last Friday for the inflatable, went out fishing right away until dark. Just figured I lost one of them at the launch (the one at the north side of the lake). Not worth a lot of money, but feel quite unset as I lost it the as day I bought it and I have to think what to...

thx Basstalker

Lakers?!

That's a nice target I didn't have a chance to aim before.

Where can I find some heavy jig heads? The heaviest in LeBaron is 1/2oz. A quick search shows CCB's msg about using even 3 oz jig for lakers. Never seen one.

Wade the rapids on the Ottawa, for sure you will catch fish.

Problem is, the water level is quite high, and most likely the current is quite strong. You have to be VERY careful!!

Don't throw it away, take it back to the shop, get the staff test the line, you might be able to get your money back or at l...
