Source: Purchased three in 2015. As of Oct 2018 they're still cranking it out.

Re: Eagle took my fish
Cool vid for the bald eagle, they are an amazing bird.
I agree with Wallyboss though; it's disingenuous, and probably not legal as you were baiting that bird - just waiting for the perfect clickbait freeze frame by the looks of it.

Re: Fishing show in Ottawa?
My question is why do you feel we don't have shows like this anymore? Due to the lack of return on the cost of setting up shop in one of these events, vendors take a pass? That's my guess. But since you you asked about how I feel about it, I'll tell you. I freaking miss that kind of event. I grew u...

Re: White Lake Zebra Mussels
From what I heard the lowly Sheephead has taken a liking to these nasty things. That and crayfish. Either way disappointed to hear this - will start bleaching the live well after visits there...fish, now they seem to be eating the mussels.

Yaaah, jealous of the time off! Enjoy the holidays. Have fun with what will hopefully be new friends man. Great attitude, love it.
Next time the second seat is available in my boat I'll post it open here, in that spirit.

Well it's clear enough for us trailering a boat but not very clear for others. Annoyingly bureaucratic, yeesh. You should print that email from Geoff and prominently display it on your dash for verification next time there...

Re: Parking fees at White Lake boat launch
Does anyone know if day passes can be purchased in advance or must be purchased day of? We hit the water before the General Store opens.
Though if the speculation these are also sold at Antrim that shouldn't be an issue.

Re: A Surprise First
This is how obsessions are born...trust me. I'm afraid of that... A few folks have asked me if I now have the "Muskie Bug". I will definitely target them in future, but will probably contract the services of one of our local guides first. I wrote that I was terrified when I first saw that...

Re: A Surprise First
Most definitely a PB! Suppose it woulda been too much to ask of the fishing gods for a 50+ on my first Muskie. That is by no means a complaint - it was one of the greatest experiences of my life!
Thanks for the feedback gents and the size chart is handy.

A Surprise First
The Maverick recently posted a comment in another thread here that hit home, it is a love-hate relationship with the Ottawa River. This is very, very true. Spent the last two summers on average 1-2 times per week getting to know the river between Blair launch and Rockland, more specifically the west...
