I was out at a Lake near Plevna and the water temp was 47 and that was over a week ago. Didn't even mark a fish.

Re: Minn Kota Terrova or Ulterra?
I have had both and currently running an Ulterra which is great (love the stow, deploy, and trim at the push of a button). Couple things to consider... it is a lot tougher to mount an external transducer on the Ulterra.... also if you run out of juice or it jams on you.... you have to manually deplo...

Re: Boats? What do you drive? Im Looking for a new one
Picked up a used Lund 2014 Pro guide 1675 2 years ago and I absolutely love the boat. I was always set on an Alumacraft but the Lund has more then exceeded my expectations. I don't think you can go wrong with Lund or Alumacraft but I can vouch that Lund makes a fantastic boat.

They aren't terrible fish Craig. Couple of decent ones there. At least that hook wasn't past the barb!

Re: Hummingbird 798c si purchase
Personally I would save up a few more dollars and go with one of the Helix Units. For side imaging you need to have a 7" screen minimum to actually be able to see it clearly. Good luck with your decision.

Re: Miracle Weight Loss for Flashers/Fishfinders
Great initial review of this battery. This will also benefit people who go on fly-in fishing trips where reducing weight means possibly saving money. That is 4lb's more you can bring in tackle or beer. Keep us posted with the performance.

Re: Any insight on cottage rentals?
I used this site this year to book mine. You can search by lake or by closest town to look in an area that you like.
