I was under the impression they had a 90 degree cone for shallow water. Versus the 60 degree cone of boat mount. I am considering one of those or a permanent model for the yak I am not sure yet.

There is a second chioce for paddling anglers now, thanks to Bombardier, and there SeaDoo Dolphins, we ahve a cheap rechargable battery that just happens to be 12v. I have seen them at Canadian Tire for around $30.00, I am going to need it next year when I install my fishfinder in the yak.

I found them too heavy for my liking, and to be honest with you they are also to stiff to rig weightless. General GARBAGE IMHO.

I find them to be alittle on the fragile side, for suck an amazing and adaptive fish. You really have to watch how you handle them. But, they, can apadt to many water types, and will set themselves up to grow large as much as they can, wow.
