Hey! Does anyone know how much ice there is on Constance bay? Looking to get out there this weekend. I assume there is plenty to walk, but is there enough to take a truck or snowmobile?

I’d like to get out about 800m or so.

Yep, our last outing brought in 5 decent sized ling along with some small walleye. The ling bite is on!

Yep I concur. Was out all yesterday and pretty slow, caught one sauger 11".

Hmmm...seems to me that ice fishing would be considered ok as long as the gathering was outdoors and in a group of less than 5 while socially distanced. If in the shack, probably should only be members of your household...However, I feel ya CClad, It seems the direction right now is not really clear...

Hey! Was out last night. Only a few shacks setup so far. 8-9" of solid black ice where I was. Was also a thin crust of ice on top of some slush, wet boot if you go through, so bring the rubber boots...also the ramp was getting pretty messy. Getting cold this week, so should be making some ice a...

After the deep freeze tonight and tomorrow we should be makin some ice out there!

Hey! Just a heads up, was out there this afternoon and wind has blown in the once nicely plowed road. Pretty messy out there and some big snow drifts.

Good to hear someone is catching out there though, we haven’t had the greatest success out on the bay this year so far.

Took a quick swing around Shirley’s Tuesday. There were a half dozen shacks out there 400m or so, and two mid size trucks directly out from the ramp. Was in a rush so didn’t have time to go out and check the ice myself, anybody have an ice thickness report??
