I'm still shaking my head from what I've read through 6 pages of garbage and recyclables
There will be pigs that leave garbage behind and those that pick up other pigs garbage because they care....and then, there are people that plain old just don't care either way. It's never going to be an easy fix, so just do your part and not leave a mess while enjoying the outdoors. It's quite simple actually.
One thing I have learned is, that accountability can quickly turn to embarassment, followed by anger because people should'nt have been doing what they were doing in the first place. Not sure why this happens but it does and I see it all the time in everyday life.
I used to fish for Steelhead every opener on the Ganaraska River back in the day. I had a spot that I could access with permission from a private property owner. The fishing was always good until one opener, when we showed up to find there was a new gate installed. Turns out that a group of anglers tore down a lengthy section of fence and used it for fire wood and left one big mess to boot. Needless to say that honey hole was gone because of a few idiots that ruined a sweet deal.
I'm done!
