It's time to poll the members regarding some of these posts...
I agree that posts are good to read and viewing pics are even better ...but some of them seem to be getting repetitive with the contents inside....

Ouch
That's gotta raise some eyebrows...
I like fishing posts period, not enough do it.
So I said no.
They catch nice fish but I am concerned they'll fish it out the way they are going.
Maybe some posts with a change of sceney would be nice but hey, at least they are posting , and catching fish.
Catch em, take pics and release em guys, but don't forget lads , there is a lot of other species and spots out there and scoping out new territory is half the fun.

Hey they're the only ones posting reports! I do enjoy reading them, good for a laugh too(falling through the ice twice in one day), and man those are some big pike and crappie too, and if I wasn't so busy with school I'd probably join them

I wouldn't reccomend giving out these locations and such specifics too, exact minnows ectt... but they have the right intentions.
Not sure what's with all the disrespect though, they are posting reports, and thats more than I and almost everyone on the board has done lately.

muskymatt,
All the fish we catch are released (except 24/7 supper ones) which is merely 0.01% of them. I for one, don't want to harm any fish I catch that I don't want to keep.
Of all those fish we caught and posted on this site, none of them were caught twice, meaning had any previous marks that raised a flag.
I don't think we are fishing it out but do appreciate the concern because we are not alone on that bay. Many people do go down and fish but don't know if they practice catch & release like we do.

The Poll should read:
Should Slop go in alone with no tip-ups and less weaponry than the gang?
Should Slop show up with a breifcase full of unmarked bills to buy or bribe the McClauren possy of their secrets?
Can Slop catch a fish period!??!!
There have been 'some' fishin reports on the board but these guys rule you all in that department cause I...like many are'nt seeing any reports from the millions of veiwers/visitors

I dont mind the reports, at least they are fishing. What is a bit bothersome is all the personal banter going on and the insults.

I've been fishing the Baie for the past 25 yrs, only on the ice and it has always been a joy to fish. Until you've tried it and get a handle on the big crappie then you really don't know what you are missing.
The Baie is a rich environment and supports the fishery very well.
It is a shame to see accidental catches of LM but that's fishing. Most of the people are C&R on the Baie and that is a good thing.
Years past the perch population was being decimated by commercial guys from the Montreal area but that has been cleaned up.
Keeping a few pike is actually a good thing - there's many in the waters and that speaks to their smaller size.
Come on over and try it - it's a great spot.

WOW
this is a ''''SAD'''' tread.
respecfully TmH..a tread against other fellow member that did nothing wrong.nothing at all.
just show that they love the sports off fishing.and there not just talking about it......they actualy go fishing and show us whats its all about.
respectfully again.................NOBODY HAS TO READ THE TREAD.
so if somebody is tired about it..it must because he read all about it..

..but if he just dont read .wont be tired about it(simple).
that site is slow(not talking about the site itself) but about what people bring to the site.''reports''
those reports are welcome frome me......frome mclauren bay or just frome anywhere.
the only thing that is a bit...

.it those attract people there)...
i just think it is sad to see that guy would not be allowed to post there reports. frome mclauren bay.
if its the case......we can just go somehwre helse on other site...myself include.
dont take it harsh TMH....but if you are tired about it.its because...you did read all off it a cople times

....if you dont like it or tired, just ignore those reports .
i want those reports.and do want your reportsTMH.
PLEASE GUYS
lets just go back to fishing en enjoy the sport and the camadery about it.
life is way to short ...lets go fishing.
hope to see tons off report. frome all off you.
pictures to.
