make me sick!!
I was out early this morning as this huge Tom has me on his butt as he roamed out 50+yards from the side tree line as the 9 hens were drawing him further away.........and did not take the shot

not taking a shot
"Patience is a virtue".........but that generally always morphs into "shoulda, coulda, did'nt"......which is how the old adage was coined "hind site is 20/20".
You still got time.....mid day this time of year is key....toms are out strolling around checking hens like crazy.....morning is nice, but if you got the time, pull a sun up to sun down and capitalize on the advantage of "just being there"
