Ontario Elk Hunt

Anyone else excited like me about the upcoming elk hunt in central/eastern Ontario?
It's official - elk season is happening this year, Sept 19 to 25 in WMU's 57, 58, 60, 62, and 63A (Bancroft-North Hastings area.)

I know there won't be many tags available in the proposed Elk Harvest Areas within the WMU's with hunts but I will still be going up to take in the action if I don't get a tag.
I am lucky enough to have family with property around Bancroft and Quadeville so I am eager to take my Mathews S2 and Remington 700 for a chance at one of those bugling bulls!
We were up there last October and found a couple active herds that had good bulls that came out to say hi to us!
