I have a Humminbird 565 fish finder that I want to alternate back and forth between my canoe and the kayak - is there a good way to temporarily secure the transducer to the floor of the kayak so that it can be removed easily? I'm familiar with the silicone method but I want the flexibility of moving back and forth between the two.
I use and container with a lid that just fits mytransducer on both. I cut out the bottme of the container and silicone it to the bottom of the canoe and kayak. I fill the container with water then just drop in the transsucer. Thats my easy method that i use.

CD
Mine came in the package when I bought it. I have a portable Eagle Cuda 168 which is discontinued.
But the suction cup transducer mount can be ordered from LEI Extras for 15 bucks plus 7.50 for shipping. (still cheaper than buying another transducer)

Didn't they replace it with the Eagle Cuda 300?
That's what CTC says and they are selling.

you could just take a pice off wood and bolt to it the tranducer..at one end and the other end just clip it to the side wit a C-CLMP..use to do this and still have it actualy.
