I'm going to try that style of fishing soon. What do you do if the fish swings around to another side of the kayak?

Choose a rod that's long enough to pass the tip around the front of your boat. I fish from a 13' kayak, and I like a 7' rod, but can definitely get away with 6'6. Depends on your kayak though. Have fun!

You can swing your yak. With those mini paddle one hands. Diy dollarama board paddle


Or swing your rod around in front make sure not get caught in anything.

Or make it turn around. Wen you have 80 pound power power. Its possible .but might loose it.


But swing your yak is fast..using your paddle. Just practice it. A few time

Yes its start to be popular.

For me its been realy quiet this year and past few. But have push the sport a lot since 2006-7 ,,,but since theres a load of peoples that got into it. Nice.
