It is a lot of fun, I enjoyed it last year... I was just saying to nighttroller today how annoying the mud puppies are up there.. on the night lines. they slowly take the bait, do not set a flag or bell off and eat the hook... not good for your fish catching , or for the poor fellas....

glad you had fun. good time when with a good gang

Hiya Bacon,

What a great report and pictures to match. I think that must have been a really unique experience that you'll always remember.

GOT TO LOVE BEING ABLE TO FISH FROM YOUR BED!! Too funny!

Those "snacks" looked delectable, especially doubled with a Corona!

I'm really glad you got out there and had yourself such an enjoyable time. Would have liked to know what kind of fish you guys lost -- whether they were big walleye or pike.

I'll pass on the ice cracking at night, though!

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

I wonder why the pike don't eat them?? or do you think they do?

We have loads of mud puppies here and 've never seen one in a pikes stomach contents.

Looks like a great time and a nice way to take a break and relax.

I didn't realize how nice the bungalows are. Comfortable, warm and room to move about. 8)

That is exactly what they do Jaz...pains in the butt for sure...

I wonder eh Mark....maybe even Pike find them disgusting...

Wolfe...the ice cracking means it's just building more....when the ice is 2 ft thick you cannot go through....You do knw we drive our vehicles on the ice right? :D

I'm in too, but lets drive the extra hour to Temagami. I'd rather reel in 5-8lbs lakers and big whitefish instead of perch and dinky walleye. I can do that here at home.
