Ottawa River Arnprior...Nov 20th

Post by RJ »

Spent the day out with Gordo on the Ottawa....

I had a fish on within a half hour but she came unpegged on the hookset... :x ....insert bad language here!...

Next up was Gordo...."RJ, I think I got one...."..."tighten up and set the hook....".....2 feet planted....and whammo....hookset of all hooksets...Fish on!....and up she comes....22 inch Pike...    ....22 inch pike snacking on a 8 inch sucker... ..I roared!...

not a great day but he did manage his personal best Pike....and of course there's a story.....he has his rod in the holder...talking on the phone... ...rod bends in half...he hands me the phone...sets the hook...and up she comes....   ...by now I've said...gotta go...Fish on...

34 Inches...and fat.....weighed in at 8.9..

We ran into Nighttroller and Peng out there too....they pounded it all day too...and had nada.... ...good seeing you out there though boys!

After maybe a trip to Quinte next weekend I think we're done for the year....with Kim and I moving and all... :D :D :D :D

Another fun fishing trip with RJ... There was a strange smell in the boat today. When I was in the front I could smell it in the back... when I moved to the back of boat I could smell it in the front. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. Finally it came to me! The smell was RJ... being skunked!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

RJ taking a pounding without so much as a rebuttle!

C'mon, where's the "grass hopper has learned well" speech :!:

Or maybe, "young Anikan has learned to utilize the power of the force" :!:

"My job is done"...

Something along those lines, c'mon, you're killing me. I've been waiting :!:
