TLsea and I wanted to get a bunch of people together Next saturday, March 9, on the Ottawa river at Aylmer for an ice fishing get together. Good fishing for Pike, Walleye and the perch should be moving in as well. Figured we could all fish the day away then come back to the house and all order Pizza and a movie or something like that. All are welcome and would love to see a big group out. Let me know if you are intending to come and we will save a spot on the ice for you  .
Cheers

Great to here that people are interested. As Bacon said, U don't need a Quebec license to fish on the Ottawa. And for the field of tip ups, this time of year, many of the people are not out, so more ice for us  .

Not sure how far it is, but Aylmer is right across from Ottawa if that helps.

I vaguely remember the post from a while back but still have to ask. So anyone with an Ontario license is ok to fish at the Aylmer Marina? I asked the same CO that showed up at the FH derby and he had no idea, said it was a Quebec issue.

What was the final word on this?
