Reel Repair

Whats wrong with it??
You could probably fix it yourself.

Re: Reel Repair
I cleaned all my reels myself last year and just brought them to paddletales the year before. Ed sends them out to a guy in Montreal who will take them apart, clean them, and repair or replace any broken items. I don't think he sends shimano there anymore but all other makes he sells go there.
If you have a question that is fishing tackle related and you are asking where to get it, chances are paddletales has it/can do it/can get it. Awesome store with a great owner who makes sure you are taken care if properly.
Also, Biggs is bang on here. Once you open a reel, you will realize how easy it is to clean/repair provided you are at least a little mechanicly inclined.
Good luck!

Re: Reel Repair
I no longer use the guy in Montreal. Shimanos go to Shimano, all others to Rockey's in Orillia.

Re: Reel Repair
Are you still taking Shimano reels for repair at PaddleTails?
