New Cordless Drill Ice Auger Setup... Love it!!

Well I finally broke down and got a new auger setup. I have had a couple gas augers in the past, but I had not done much ice fishing in the last few years so had sold my gas auger. I had a 6" Fin-bore hand auger, but after my heart survey two years ago causing some nerve issues in my arm I can only cut 1 or 2 holes by hand.

So the other day I bought a new Milwaukee M18 Fuel Hammer Drill and a 5Ah battery.

I paired it with a Woods Universal Ice Auger Adapter and my 6" Fin-bore hand auger.



So far have only used it to drill about 20 holes in about 7 inches of ice, but it is great so far. I just got to work on drilling straight. lol

For next year I might look at upgrading the auger part to a K-Drill or something.
