Absolutely gorgeous.
My fav is the met with the zpi handle. Subtle but sweet.
I imagine something will be done to my core over the winter. I can only hope it turns out anywhere near as nice as any of your reels.

All I have left in the baitcast collection are my Sol, Metanium HG and Metanium XG.
I have 6 slots to fill and they will be comprised of Exsence DC, Antares and more Metaniums.

The Sol is my favorite.

Thanks, it's mine too.
It got me into reel tuning and I just can't bring myself to selling it.
it started with bearings, drag
and then this
didn't like the Semper fi handle
so it went to this
then there was a glimpse of light whent he PX-R came out and I started swapping parts between the two reels and I've realized I can get a swept star and make the star click! I ordered the parts before the kit was even available @ the Tackle Trap.
And then after a trip to Japan, I started throwing more accent parts on it.
I've toyed with the idea of repainting it but have decided to keep the factory look. I also have a MB fixed rotor finesse spool for those days when I need to downsize. So far the Ize Spool is treating me great.
I've been trying to start custom painting my reels for a while. I actually have all the equipment set up already, just don't know which reel to do. Next item for this reel is probably painting the frame black and keep the side plates stock.

I would not paint the Sol. It looks good with stock factory paint.
I like the red accents and the swept handle with cork knobs.
I can see from the pictures that you are probably a photography enthusiast.
