fishing rod

Post by danielcraig »

Hey everyone, I’m Daniel, 23, and excited to be part of the Fish-Hawk community! I’ve been getting into fishing more seriously lately and love learning from folks who know their stuff. Looking forward to swapping stories and tips with you all. On that note, I could use some advice - what’s a solid fishing rod for a beginner like me targeting freshwater species? Any recommendations on length, action, or brands would be awesome. Thanks!

Daniel: Could use a little more information to properly answer you question. Budget, target species, spinning or casting. The Shimano SLX or Daiwa Tatula XT Are great rods for the price. I wouldn't call them "entry level" though as they are better rods than that. Price range $120.00 to $150.00 for the rod. I could be more specific re actions and reels with more information.
