Been out carping a few times this year but normally from a boat and am looking for a few shore spots that produce carp in the Ottawa Area (1hr drive max)

When I think of a place to shore fish for carp I think of Alain Viau's campground at the mouth of the Nation where it flows into the Ottawa. There are about a kajillion carp there and I am pretty sure Alain will let you use his pair ifyou ask - why not give him a call?
To get there, head for the Wendover launch. Follow Rue Principal all the way to the end and you'll see Alain Viau's campground.
