Canada day weekend fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Canada day weekend fishing

Post by Duker »

We had to head off cause everyone was doing different things so I hooked up with Sleded for some pond bass/ pike. We spent all afternoon and early evening and Eric got 2 small largemouths and I had a great one going but fowled up and got some bluegill.

Then Saturday night I got 2 LM Bass at another pothole of a pond both small but fun 2 and 3 pounders. Finally my Dad and bro made it out of Bronte on Lake Ontario and used some lyman plugs and dipsys to catch 5 salmon, 2 of which where 20 pounds or more. All in all a great weekend dispite some arses at the launch and few photos, but I’ll post the salmon when I get them.

Hey Duker.

Thanks for your report. I hope you don't mind that I took a second to edit your report so that your pictures showed better. I removed the URLs you had put in your post that led to your pictures - they weren't necessary and they were screwing up your pics.

Keep 'em coming! :)

Thanks Fishhawk, i seem to have trouble with pictures, does'nt help having no computer skills.

Gravelguy4, i don't fish up near brantford much but i live on the grand river further below caledonia, sometimes some fantasic fishing/ other days are lazy with few fish but all well worth it.
