Help!! Need camping spot for Newboro lake

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

You could camp at Sunnyside on the little Rideau and just go thru the locks in the morning. Thats my plan for the week before the Newboro tourney.

JP,

I stayed at Sunnyside last summer and it's not too far from the locks. The boat launch is not great and if you want to leave your boat in the water you'll have to rent on of their dock spaces which is exposed to frequent large wakes from Rideau canal traffic heading into Westport.

Campsite is quite nice especially the waterfront sites.

JP, check out this link. http://www.rideau-info.com/canal/accom-camp.html it has a good list of accomodations on the Rideau including Sunnyside on Upper Rideau and some spots on Newboro.
