Thanks muchly ya'll. :D

Missisicabi is the kind of place that I wish everyone could experience but, on the other hand, it's total remoteness from people is what makes it what it is. We did have some slow fishing in the afternoon heat and Paul did say after when we were leaving that he felt the hot weather made the fishing only average this trip. His family has been making the trip a few generations now. I don't have the boat, motor, knowledge of the tides and sandbars and nerve to do that trip on my own, even though it only takes about 2 to 3 hours to get there with a 40hp from home in Moose Factory, and I have the entire route plotted on GPS now. I won't ever forget the honey holes though, or the rivers channels after seeing them when water levels were at their lowest.

I couldn't offer anyone, and don't have the means to, to fish the Missisicabi, and I think that would be disrespectful to Paul in a way as well. But my offer to take anyone wanting to come up this way fishing on the Moose always stands. :D

Simply amazing Bunk! Must be some of the most pristine waters to be had. Was looking forward to this report, I wasn't disappointed...except for the fact, I wasn't the one catchin' em'. :D

Moosebunk,

What an amazing fishing adventure. I will probably not catch 220 walleye in my lifetime. That was an amazing and impressive report. And the pictures were fantastic (hey, Paul can take great pics, too! What a guy!)

I'm really happy for you that you experienced such an exceptional and incredible outing. (And... I don't like to eat fish, but I have to admit, that one pic had me drooling a bit! Looks YUMMY!)

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

I'm guessing the boat ride back was a little slower given the extra big tummies you fellas must have had. :P

Sweet. Nice to see life in the sticks has some rewards.
I'm just a lot JEALOUS!!! That's a LOT of fish!

I am oviously missing something; did you go by boat the whole time? How long was that? Looks like awesome fishing and well worth it.

Cheers,

Scott
