FISHING LA PASSE FOR WALLEYE

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I have a cottage just downstream from the launch. Been in the area for about four years. There are a number of good walleye spots in the area. The narrows near Lacroix Bay can be good. If you head on up river to the otherside of Lac Colounge you will find a rather large sand bar, again good at night. Head even further upstream to the rapids, a couple of kilometers, another good spot. Most of the islands in near LaPasse also have good structure and you can often pick up one or two trolling or jigging.
