Canal lake advice

I while back I asked about suggestions for new places to fish, I got a ton of excellent suggestions, but have decided on Canal lake. I will be heading up September 12th and will be renting a boat out of Bolsover, unless someone else has a better suggestion for rentals. Anyone have any advise? we will be targeting Muskie and bass. Any help would be appreciated and I will be sure to post pictures. thanks in advance.
