Any tips on how to get carp up @ Burritts Rapids?

Tried today and nothing.

Any tips will help.

Hey Brett:

There are probably lots there (the Rideau Canal is now lousy with them), but I haven't heard of anyone targeting them particularly.

Any slow backwater with about 4-8 ft. water should see some.

My knowledge of crap is pretty limited, have only hunted them with a bow years ago..........should start again.
