I have a family reunion Sept 30, Oct 1 & 2nd at the CNIB camp on Lake Jo. near Parry Sound.
Has anyone been on the Lake?
Any pointers as to areas to look and baits to try would be a great help (small friendly family derby )
We would be targeting Bass & Muskie and maybe Rainbow if possible.
Lake Joseph info needed????

No ski's thats a dissappointment. Lakers close the 3oth and I wont likely get up there till 4 or 5pm. I guess it'll have to be bass....AzuluSpook'd wrote:No ski's on Lake Joe...don't believe there are any Bow's either, never heard of anyone ever catching either as long as I've been alive. Your best bet is to target Lakers....
The Georgian area web site is rather misleading if that is the case.
Found about 19 kilometres south of Parry Sound, Lake Joseph is one of the most established vacation destinations in all of Georgian Bay Country, sharing its boundary with Muskoka.
A very large, very deep lake – at its deepest measuring 93.8 metres – with shores adorned with large summer residences.
Some fish species native to Lake Joseph are Small and Large Mouth Bass, Lake Trout, Lake Whitefish, Rainbow Trout, Rock Bass, Yellow Perch and Muskie.
As well, Lake Joseph is connected to Lake Muskoka, which provides additional recreational opportunities.
