I hit the Rideau today with Tony and Ransome to do a little musky fishing. I saw 3 Musky's today. One that spit the hook at me and laughed as she swam away and then.... lightening strikes!
Yup, you guessed it, the boys had a double header. I am just the camera man so I will leave the story to these two happy campers. I can still here them hoot'n and hollering !
Where do I start! Today was a perfect day.... anywhoo, the day started liek this, tony lost one, i had the hook into one for 5 seconds, lost it, tony looses another one, and then tony says fish on, i give rich a call on the radio and say fish on, tony sets the hook, and the rods is doubled over..... then to make things interesting after i get the ent, I see another muskie following tonys, i throw my sucker right into his face...... while im waiting I give rich another call and say we need some help, double header!! A double header of muskies! How often does that happen!!!!
My rod buckles and the fish made 4 solid runs not allowing me to lift her an inch, finally into the net and the shakes started lol!
Glad rich was there to take a double header pics of our skis! Just when I thought that there was nothing left in the season that could top Quinte this happens! Looks like the boat is staying out for another week or two
Tonys was about 36" and mine was about 45"
Twas an awsome day!
Now as for tonys apparel.. he wears the exact same outfit icefishing, and then wonders why he cant feel anything on the drive home!! Someoen buy this boy a snowsuit!!!!!! God, you should see his soccer shorts from highschool or maybe his baseball pants
Mark, ya never know when you'll bump into snag on the water, doesn't hurt to look good just incase eh? Rich, thanks for getting the pics up and thanks again for the great camera work! I'll have to repay the favour Double header Muskie!! Simply awsome! Still giggling
