Scugog report

I arrived at the lake around 3 pm. Walked out a ways and punched a few holes. Only 6 fow. (That lake is shallow) I fished theese holes for about an hour or so then decided to move out a lil further, bunch of dinky perch.
Then from behind me at the holes I had just left. I hear FISH ON and this guy running like a bat out of hell to his tip up that was sitting at the hole i had punched earlier. Well he had a fish on alright it must have been a 2.5 foot muskie. I took a pic to send him when he emails me for it. Guess I shouldnt have moved so soon. I left at 6 pm.LMAO Thats fishin for ya.LMAO

Isnt that the way...sometimes its tough to stay put. Scugog muskie seem to like sneaking up on small baits. Cant wait for the open water walleye season again..

Lake Scugog has had good ice conditions this year, even though we have had some warm spells. The fishing itself has also been good for the most part. Ive noticed more huts on the lake this year than in previous years. That maybe to the fact that Lake Simcoe and the B.O.Q. have not had good ice for venturing out safely.

Ah the dreaded, I shouldn't have moved syndrome. We all can relate to that one Freshwater!
