Electronics

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Electronics

Post by billy »

How can anyone use an electronic device to catch fish. You're not a true fisherman if you do. Using such a device is so easy to find the fish that its the equivalent of walking to the grocery store instead of driving.

Yeah, and driving trucks onto the ice, gas powered screws you guys are the laziest ever.

Hi Billybob!
I see in your profile your a hunter. I assume you wrestle your deer hehehe!!!    Personally I like to strap on a pair of Water Wings like FF owns, swim out into the middle of Quinte, gotta be careful of the boat traffic at nite!!!! ( FF and I have special bathing caps we wear, mine has a flashing Willy, and FF's has a bottle of Blue on top) and harpoon the little buggers...seems more sportsmanlike to me! Plus I like the challenge. I agree with ya...anyone that uses electronics when they go fishing should be let go in the woods, baited with a bag of carrots and some apples and shot while they're eating it as we all sit in our stands dressed in our camo gear doused with deer scent holding a high powered rifle with a 10X scope while going over our night vision trip camera pics! Go gettem Billy! Just gimme a chance to go get some popcorn first!

Well atleast we get off the couch but the question is do you .? And have you ever tried putting a 100 holes or more in the ice when it gets close to the 3 ft mark . If icefishing is a sport then trust me lad I'm an Olympic calibre athlete .

Ah another troll rears its ugly head, albeit a pompous one. You brought up some great points Mikey. With some exceptions...isn't using a floatation device and a spear an unfair advantage? For shame...you should be weighing yourself down and bobbing for them. In regard to the deer, don't hold out on old Billy and give him the address to that store that specializes in high powered pea shooters.
