I've had three through the ice so far this year. The biggest was about 40". Luckily it hit on the 10lb fireline
Had a big one on last year. Might as well have hooked a transport truck going byas I would have had about the same chance of slowing it down.
When you think it's a 5 pound Walleye !

I'm can't wait til I get a huge bass thru the ice....I'll be posting it and see how many congratulatory notes I get......
So much for the OOS policy...maybe it should read..."to stop the tears of bass anglers...no OOS bass pics will be allowed or condoned"
Still a great fish!....Thanks for sharing the pics!

The argument was any fish kept long enough to take a pic was retained there fore part of your daily limit as you have retained it, not released it immediately. No prob here, you ever take a pic of a fish that couldn't be legaly retainedTrophymuskie wrote:I'm with RJ on this one, any OOS fish should get the same respect. Over handling of any OOS fish isn't any good period.

Black and white issue when you are talking about OOS fish vs. slot limit or undersized fish legaly targeted and caught during the open season.
Catch and release them all
