Action Angling Episode 3

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Action Angling Episode 3

Here it is, hope you all enjoy it. Some of the shots were blurry because we had the lens set for close-ups, but overall I think it went pretty well. Let me know what you think!

good work BBR/Sleded, although those are "small" fish for great lake run fish they don't get much bigger for small stream trout, great work guys. Nice colours on the browns too.

Is it just me or has the link disappeared? I seen the link from work today, but since streaming audio and visual is blocked by the firewall I couldn't view it.

Rich ....looks fun..nice browns!

I hope I'm not insulting you...but just a comment on the C and R, I noticed you lads handled the trout with dry hands... I have seen many dead trout on creek banks with fungus and sores on the side.

A simple wetting of the hand before you take the trout out of the water saves the protective membrane from adhering to your hand and gives that gorgeous trout a near 100 percent survival chance.

I have fished alot of trout and salmon in my youth and had that point drilled home to me on many occasions, so please don't take offence....maybe I missed you guys dipping your hands first, if so..I apologize...

But I liked your video...all our water is still frozen solid up here.

Cheers....keep making the clips bud! good stuff!

Thnx everyone,

and waterfowler I appreciate the comment. I've said many times that I'm not much of a trout fisherman so comments like that are really helpful. From now on I will wet my hands everytime.. even though my hand usually gets wet as I reach for the fish, not always so I will make it a point to do it everytime now. Also I will attach my pliers to my with a rope  if you noticed I had lost my pliers on the way in so we were forced to de-hook with our hands which wasted a lot of time getting the fish back to the water.

All important tips for next time, and appreciated. :)

How did I ever miss episode 1 and 2?

It cut out at 49% if video viewed. But very impressive for DIY.
