Hey Boyz..
Camping in the back country of Calabogie is great... IF you go up there go up on top of the dam. there are some hydro roads and logging roads you can use to get in backwoods... some nice little lakes to camp on and what not..
Alot of people do it. Just dont leave a mess. Tread lightly and have an awsome time.
Hope you guys have an ATV... early in the season the trails can be a mess
Cheers

Just a fair warning the roads and campsites maintained by the Cononto people require a permit for camping and if not camping a permit for use of the road. The permits are sold at local stores. I am sure Jim's bait in the bogie sells permits and would have more info. I have camped on round schooner and a permit is required. (Maire, Govan,Granit Etc all require permits) If I remember carrectly it is something like 6-7 $ per vehicle and 18-20 $ per campsite. If you pay for campsite the 6$ for road use is included. They do sell a year pass for 45-50$. I hope this helps
