Here's a perch to make you salivate!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I'm quite sure that the Ontario record perch is 2.4lbs, from Lake Erie about a year or two ago. Interestingly, a 2.2lb was caught in Lake Simcoe that same weekend, and before the guy who caught the 2.2 could get into the record books, the 2.4 was caught that beat him out.

Simcoe is a World-class Perch fishery and the biggest one's will be caught in the upcoming weeks. Here is pic of 2 that combined weighed approx. 4lbs.... both released after the pic.....

Already have a few trips booked and looking forward to breaking the 2lb mark again!

Think I recall a 2 lb 7 oz jumbo being caught this winter around Gilfords on Lake Simcoe.
