Cottage - Pike and Laker(pics)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Cottage - Pike and Laker(pics)

Post by rapalastair »

Took a trip up to the cottage for the long weekend with some friends. We all got a chance to fish despite the wet and windy weather. Most of the weekend was spent chasing pike. Most fish were caught on Blue Fox spinners.

Here's a picture of the biggest one caught:

On Monday, my brother Iain and Corrie decided to try for some lakers. They managed two, with the bigger one going to Corrie.

Here it is:

Nice work boys. Too bad I got skunked!!

Great job guys, both fish are beautiful. I'm looking forward to fishing for some lakers at the beginning of June. They certainly look like a lot a fun. That Pike must have been knarly to eh? Ya gotta love a Pike that size, even though we curse the small ones.

Thanks for sharing.
