Paint falling off my Brand new Lowe boat

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

The best thing is to not give in until they fix everything and dont give them a dime. The one thing these guys hate most is any negative publicity because that equals loss in sales. And dont appologize for making anyone angry you are the one who dropped 30 large on the trust you had in their product and quality and customer service. If any of these things are negative then they deserve to be told. Hope it works out for you as it did for me after my battle.

Happt hear it is working out....

Post by Priorguy »

You know this is something right out of the book of large companys care very little for customers. I used to think Legend was the boat I would always want to have. After seeing the problems you have had has left a real bad lasting imprerssion. I know I should not judge them on a single incident but the facts are in the photo and thats a real shame that they overlooked this....

Princecraft or Tracker will be my final destination ... of course once my Sylvan is done..... still lots of fishin in her.

This posting has all the makings of a good novel... glad things are working out..

Legend boats are built here in Ontario. I am not the only one who had problems with them, but many people out there love them, so I guess its the luck of the draw on any boat. Ya get what ya pay for. Every product can have a defect at some point , the difference here is Lowe should have taken responsibility right away without the runaround.

my boat was a Lowe not a Legend.

other than the fluke chance that the paint was bad, it is an awesome boat, i am just really unimpressed with Lowe customer service.

Hey Grimace,
you should contact Korzite Coatings in Guelph and ask to talk one of there sales reps to see if they can find out who supplies the paint to Lowe. I bet the paint manufacture would be interested in seeing the pictures of your boat. They would have a little talk with Lowe about the proper application of there product and maybe the quality control would be a whole lot better. The sales rep you may want to take to at Korzite is Phil R. he is there USA sales rep.

Park it on a super busy street with a big sign saying that "said" dealership sold you a lemon "LOWE" and are not willing to fix it...etc,etc,etc

The bad publicity in your town will have them banging down your door...Its not defamation either because its TRUE
